How often do you look at your watch or cell phone to check the time? What about the bottom right corner of your laptop? Whether it is to stay on schedule for medication or to be sure we are ready for our favorite TV show, we all need to be able to answer the question: "What time is it?" For individuals using AAC, a watch or a cell phone may not always be the most convenient tool for checking the time. However, by using Active Labels, we can have the time, day, date and other personal information from the User Setup Wizard available right on the communication device!

Easily Changing Keyboards on Your V/Vmax

Your V/Vmax comes with several different keyboard pages. These pages differ based on the number of buttons per page and the configuration of those buttons. Some pages are organized alphabetically, some like a computer keyboard, and some are optimized for access methods like scanning. Because there are links to the keyboard from many different places in any InterAACT page set, changing from one keyboard to another (and making sure you have made the changes on all the necessary pages) can be a lot of work. To make things easier, the keyboard links have been programmed using the Macro feature. This allows you to change the keyboard page once and have all of the keyboard links change!
